INVIVNI Softphone Help

Using Your PC for Your Telephone
INVIVNI is compatible with the Xten X-Lite softphone.

PLEASE NOTE: If you chose to use the Xten softphone client, it will act as your primary telephone. You may only use one device at a time. So, if you are logged in with Xten, your home phone will not ring, Xten will and vice versa.

What you will need:
  1. Your full 15 digit Username number. If you do not have this, please contact INVIVNI Customer Support at 1-888-403-1704.
  2. Your device password. If you do not have this, please contact INVIVNI Customer Support at 1-888-403-1704.
Download and run the installer application to begin.

Once installed, run the X-Lite application to see the following screen.
Click the MENU icon just to the right of the CLEAR button to see the following screen.
Double click the SYSTEM SETTINGS line to see the following screen:
Double click the SIP PROXY line to see the following screen:
Double click the DEFAULT line to see the following screen:
Complete the above screen as follows using the information you gathered earlier:
  • Enabled = YES
  • Display name = Type your name in this field
  • Username = 15 digit username provided by INVIVNI
  • Authoirzation User = 15 digit username provided by INVIVNI
  • Password = Password provided by INVIVNI
  • Domain Realm = aspireworks.com
  • SIP Proxy = aspireworks.com
  • Outbound Proxy = Type nv-obproxy.commpartners.us in this field
  • The rest of the fields can be left alone.
Continue pressing the BACK button until you are back at the first menu then you can close the menu.

You may have to restart the softphone for it to register correctly. This can be done by right clicking the XTen icon in your taskbar (lower right corner of your screen) and choosing EXIT. Then you can relaunch the X-Lite program. If you login successfully, the screen will say “Logged In – Enter Phone Number”

Headsets with a boom microphone are REQUIRED, they can be purchased at many locations including Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.
